BRED Bank Solomon staff presented a cheque of $1,000 to the Cancer Unit on Thursday 28 October 2021.
The money was raised during a #pinktober fundraiser event on Friday 22 October 2021. The fundraiser included selling of pink ribbons plus donations from staff, and the bank.
Breast Cancer is the second cancer killer here in the Solomon Islands.
Whether through a clean up campaign or making a donation, we are always happy to contribute to a good cause and make a difference where we can.
Recently, BRED Bank Solomon staff participated in the #OneMoreShot4Linta initiative.
Each staff donated $10, and BRED Bank Solomon matched the amount.
BRED Bank Solomon staff and their families (including small children) turned out in numbers to two recent Clean Operation Campaigns or Clean Op for short, around Honiara City.
The Clean Op Campaigns are aimed at encouraging and educating citizens about keeping the city clean and proper rubbish disposal.
We are proud to participate in an event that is not only beneficial to the community but also keeps our staff active and healthy.
BRED Bank Solomon was pleased to visit the Chirstian Care Center to show support to the victims of domestic violence.
BBS managed to provide: 22*20kg bags of rice, 4 bale sugar, cartons of Sol Tuna, 4 bags of clothes, cartons of noodles and bags of candies for the kids.
As part of our commitment to the community and our willingness to do better, we were proud to put a smile of these women’s faces.

As each year, the Solomon Islands Red Cross Annual Fundraising Dinner has for aim to promote the Humanitarian Work!
Thanks to this event, $125,000 SBD has been raised for the work they do before, during and after disasters and emergencies and in between times.

That’s why, BRED BANK SOLOMON made a modest start not far from their HQ, clearing waste from the surroundings and the sea front. With the help of family members, we stashed roughly 50 bags of rubbish including cans, plastics, tyres, and more…

By being the sponsor of the Business Contribution to the community Award, BRED BANK SOLOMON wanted to acknowledge the importance of the businesses for the community, how they create jobs, welfare and most important of all: social link between all Solomon islanders.
As always SFW aims to set the quality and creative standard for fashion design in Solomon Islands. The association were able to send two of the best designers and one model to represent Solomon Islands at the 10th Anniversary of Fiji Fashion Week Runway in Suva in May 2017. It was an eye opening experience and what they learned in Fiji will hopefully lead to improvements in Solomon Islands.
